Questions raised on the motive behind Deepak’s murder

Mangaluru: City Police have been interrogating on Deepak Rao’s murder and trying to gather more information on the same.

Thought the police successfully nabbed four of the culprits within a few hours of the murder, many questions remain unanswered regarding the reason for this murder.

Police are looking into the motive behind the murder and are studying if the assailants wanted to kill someone from a particular community or particular group in the region.

It has been learnt that Deepak was not an active member of any Hindu outfit and used to participate in Religious programmes and bhajan programmes.

Officials are investigating if Deepak was a target for being closely associated with both Hindu and Muslims.
