Bengaluru: Actress Ragini Dwivedi has been remanded in police custody for another five days in connection with the drug racket case.

The CCB police, who are investigating the case, appeared before a judge on September 7 via video conference and requested 10-day custody of the actress but they were granted custody for only five days.

The CCB police after launching an investigation earlier into the drugs racket case arrested Ravi Shankar, a drug peddler who was close to Ragini. After he mentioned Ragini, her house was raided and she was taken into for inquiry and later arrested.
