Gandhi’s answer came because of a question from the media about Modi’s jibe at a that the Congress would be diminished to “PPP (Punjab, Puducherry and Parivar) Congress” after the Karnataka elections.

“There are three modes in a PDA: the first is the work mode, the other two are speaker mode and flight mode. Modiji just uses speaker and airplane mode, he never utilizes work mode,” Gandhi said.

Gandhi additionally focused on Modi on issues like barbarities against Dalits, who were being “suppressed, crushed in the country”. He charged the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the ideological wellspring of the BJP, of being against the development of the Dalits.

“Modiji said B.S. Yeddyurappa is their Chief Minister candidate Yedyurappaji is the most corrupt CM that the nation has ever seen. Reddy brothers are the most corrupt individuals that this nation has ever observed. Modiji should explain why he is protecting corrupt Yedyurappaji and Reddy brothers,” he said.

Gandhi likewise blamed Modi for disregarding the farmers of the state.

“He should tell what he was doing when the farmers of Karnataka were looking for a loan waiver. The Karnataka government waived off loan of Rs 8,000 crore. For what reason did Modiji not contribute a solitary rupee?” he said inquired.

He additionally said that Modi had not raised the Doklam issue with China amid his current visit to the neigbhouring nation.
