Raichur: Man killed during temple visit

Raichur: A man who had come to a temple was attacked and murdered at the taluk’s Puchaladinni.
The deceased has been identified as Nandayya Swamy (40).
The attacker has been identified as Chennayya Swamy and is reported to be mentally ill.
Chennayya attacked Nandayya from behind while he was praying in the temple. Other devotees in the temple and villages caught hold of Chennayya and tied him to a tree.
Idappanuru police station officials arrived at the temple and took Chennayya into custody.
