Royal Battle: Wild tiger fights with a safari tiger at Bannerghatta, watch video

Bengaluru: A video of a wild tiger and a safari tiger trying to attack each other through the fence separating them, which was shared on social media last year by the Karnataka Forest Department had gained attention again after resurfacing on Twitter yesterday (August 5).
Susanta Nanda, an Indian Forest Service officer shared the video on his Twitter handle August 5 with a caption, “If the human relationship in this world were as strong as this fenceFolded hands. Wild tiger fights with a safari tiger at Bannerghatta, Karnataka.”
In the video, the two tigers were seen growling and jumping, trying to attack each other through the fence separating them.

In the comments section, he also explained that the wild tiger was actually a wanderer from neighboring Cauvery sanctuary.

The most common reason for fights between tigers is territorial, with male tigers clashing to defend their territory. Tiger fights also occur for mating rights with a female.
