Rs 1 cr sanctioned to build memorial for Bangarappa: BSY

Shimoga: Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa on Monday October 26 announced that Rs 1 crore will be sanctioned to build a memorial for former chief minister Bangarappa.

The memorial will be built at Soraba Taluk said Yediyurappa after virtually unveiling a statue of Bangarappa.

“Bangarappa has contributed a lot for the development of the state and has also helped the farmers of the state in many ways, he was a very straightforward politician I have seen,” said Yeddyurappa.

On the occasion he also wished happy Vijayadashami to the people of the state and said that let us fight corona with the blessings of goddess Lakshmi.
