Bengaluru: The Registered Unaided Private Schools Management Association (RUPSA) has warned the government that if their demand for aided schools status for Kannada-medium schools established after 1995 is not granted then they will start phased State-wide protests after September 15.
Members of the association said that many teachers of these schools are yet to receive their salaries and hence only the government now can save them.
They added that since the health emergency began the government has been extending its assurances for the grant of status and other relief.
The Association along with the aided school status demands implementation of the old pension scheme and extension of the Jyotisanjeevani scheme to its members.
