Sahyadri initiates water bell programme at Adyar Padau Govt. Primary School

Mangaluru: Under the banner of Unnat Bharath Abhiyan, Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management conducted Awareness about the benefits of drinking water. The programme started with a formal function. Free Water bottles were distributed to all students. Videos about the importance of drinking water were shown and fun learning activities were conducted to create awareness to the students.
Dr. Srinivasa Rao Kunte, Principal Sahyadri College addressed the students and encouraged them to inculcate the habit of drinking water every day. Dr. Rajesha S, Dean-Academics interacted with the students and explained how water can help students stay fit.
The Headmistress and Staff of the school appreciated this initiative and thanked Sahyadri Management. Ms. Shreelatha U A, Academics Administrative Officer, Dr. Ravichandra K R, Dean-Industry Connect, Prof. Ramesh K G., Dean-Strategic Planning, Dr. Vidyavathi, Professor, Dept. of Business Administration, Dr. Pushpalatha, Associate Professor, Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering, Dr. Rajesh, Associate Professor, Dept. Mechanical Engineering, Ms. Suchitra, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Business Administration, Ms. Rashmitha Girish Nishal, Student Welfare Officer, and Mr. Ankith S Kumar, Student Counsellor were present for the programme.
Dr. Rathishchandra Gatti, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering and Ms. Mamatha, Research Assistant, Dept. of Research co-ordinated the programme.
