Security guard burgles landlord’s house

Bengaluru: A security guard burgled into the landlord’s house while the landlord was out of town and stole jewellery worth 25 lakhs and cash worth rs.10000 on Tuesday. The accused has been identified as Govind, aged 29.
Govind hailed from Nepal and was working as a security guard. The landlord, Krishnappa, is a resident of Sultanpalya main road. Govind was a tenant of Krishnappa, a land developer who had let out few houses on rent
Krishnappa left for Mysuru on January 1. Govind took advantage of the situation and broke the window grills and entered the house from behind. He also broke the cupboard and stole the jewellery and cash.
Krishnappa returned on Tuesday to discover that the guard was missing along with the jewellery and cash. Govind is currently absconding. A case has been registered in R.T. Nagar police station.
