SIT speeds up investigation of Gauri Lankesh case in Madikeri

Madikeri: Following the arrest of Rajesh D Bangera, a government employee in the district, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has quickened its investigation of Gauri Lankesh murder case in Madikeri.

The SIT, following the data uncovered by Rajesh, has examined documents at a weapons and arms establishment in the city, said sources. 

The SIT is leading essential examinations about Rajesh buying guns and bullets from the establishment. The SIT likewise examined Rajesh’s friends, guaranteed sources. 

In spite of the fact that the SIT is moving in three teams in the region, the authorities stay tight-lipped on the data uncovered by it. No information about the advance of the investigation has been uncovered. 

Sources additionally said that the SIT had detained two men and subjected them to thorough questioning based on statements by Rajesh. Another group went by Palur Village and gathered information from Rajesh’s family, it is said.
