Mysuru: A special clinic to treat the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community is all set to be opened at Asha Kirana Hospital in Hebbal, Mysuru.
“People belonging to the LGBT community find it difficult to get treatment at the hospitals. Most of the hospitals hesitate to provide treatment to them, therefore we have decided to open a special clinic for them in our premises,” Hospital Trustee K S Gururaj was quoted speaking to Deccan Herald.
“They can visit the hospital on other days also. They would be treated under the guidance of Dr S N Mothi,” he added.
