Stay inside homes and support government: Home Min Bommai

Udupi: Karnataka Home Minister and Udupi district in-charge Basavaraj Bommai urged citizens to stay inside their homes and help government in preventing spread of Covid-19.

In the video released by minister, he said, “Three patients have been cured and we are observing their situation. All the primary contacts of these patients have been quarantined.”

“In Dr. TMA Pai Hospital a 100-bed COVID hospital has been set up and a 150-bed SDM hospital in Udyavara is ready to use as isolation facilities,” he added.

“People of Udupi are responsible and well educated. This district has carefully handled the situation with lot of compassion. The government officials are coordinating in making arrangements to tackle the situation effectively,” Bommai said.

Bommai said that all the MLAs are helping in providing food to needy and requested people to support the officials.

“I am a member of state level task force and in the coming days, I will keep visiting the district,” the home minister added.
