Subrahmanya: Missing GP member appears at police station, records statement

Subrahmanya: Subrahmanya Gram Panchayat member Bharati Mookamale, who went missing two months ago, presented herself at the Subrahmanya police station on January 5.

Bharati Mookamale appeared at Subrahmanya station along with her lover Nandan and their lawyer. She submitted a written statement announcing her decision to continue to live with Nandan. Thereafter, she left with him abandoning her two young daughters and husband.

Bharati had gone missing two months ago. Her husband had filed a complaint at the Subrahmanya Police Station alleging that she had gone missing since October 29.  She was untraceable ever since. Later a video of Bharti surfaced in which she claimed to have left the house of her own will.
