Sushant didn’t have financial issues, we didn’t expect he would take such a step: Sister

Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister, in a statement to police following his suicide, said there were no financial problems in the actor’s life.

Shweta, Sushant’s sister is in USA and she confirmed that although she knew that her brother was suffering from depression, he did not have any financial problems.

She further said that Sushant was not feeling well for the last one week and that she had also visited the actor at his Bandra residence in Mumbai. But she never expected him to take such a drastic step

It is said that the police have recorded statements of six people close to Sushant which includes his sister from Goregaon, his friend Mahesh Shetty, who he last called, Rhea Chakbraborty, his managers and his cook.

Sushant Singh Rajput passed away at the age of 34. His last rites were performed yesterday in Mumbai.
