Talapady man meets watery grave

Talapady: In a tragic incident a man died after he drowned in a pond in Narlapadil in Talapady on Tuesday, August 10.

The deceased is identified as Rajesh Shetty (55), a resident of Narlapadil. He was working as a security guard at Talapady toll gate.

Though locals rushed to save Rajesh from drowning, they could not succeed in the task.

Rajesh is survived by wife, two daughters, and a son.
