Technical snags: One flight cancelled, another delayed at MIA

Mangaluru: A flight to Bengaluru got canceled while another to Mumbai was delayed by several hours on Wednesday at the Mangaluru International airport. Technical snags in the aircraft caused the delays, sources said.
The flight to Mumbai was delayed for about 6 hours.
The passengers on the flight to Bengaluru had boarded the aircraft that was to depart at 1.50 PM. However, they were told to disembark at the last minute. After bout 2 hours, passengers again boarded the flight but were told to get off later. The flight was later canceled, sources said.
Minister V Sunil Kumar was one of the passengers on the Bengaluru flight. He traveled to Bengaluru by another flight at 10 pm, sources added.
An official of Indigo Airlines clarified that the flights were delayed due to technical glitches.
