Dagannuru: The colloquial saying that there is a master for all forms of skills and then there are some skills, which bloom only through pure talent shines as a fact when noticing that more than 10 students of Karnataka Islamic Academy located in Kumbra have become excellent artists only through their talents.

10 students have become good artists. Among them, first year degree student Suhail and second year degree student Tafseer have become experts in the art. Both of them have drawn hundreds of paintings. They have created several drawings on various subjects including world leaders, national leaders, religious leaders and others. They do this only as a hobby. Although experts in the art, it is curious that they have never competed in any competition.

Pictures of the elite

These students create caricatures within seconds based on political situations, statements of the politicians, various fights of the organizations and other topics. They have also drawn Nelson Mandela, Mother Theresa, Mughal Emperor Akbar, Abraham Lincoln, former PM Indira Gandhi, joker, Lionel Messi, recently deceased renowned Muslim scholar Attipatte Ustad and have gained appreciation for their works from the public.

Provide any image or photo to Suhail and Tafseer, and they will draw an exact replica within minutes. They have never attended any drawing classes. They only practice the skill during free time and thus have become experts due to their interest.

Islamic calligraphy is extremely difficult. Yet, they possess the ability to draw Islamic calligraphy, that too in a variety of ways. Both of them have also inculcated the habit of drawing the images of the guests vising the institution and presenting it as gifts to them.
