Three Congress Leaders will Join JDS; No Alliance with Any Party: HDK

Mangaluru: “Three congress party leaders will join JDS before state assembly elections scheduled to be held in 2018 and their entry is expected to strengthen the party further,” said Karnataka State JDS President HD Kumaraswamy speaking here in Mangaluru on Monday.
Without naming the Congress leaders JDS leader said, the leaders will work for the party and this could help JDS to raise the number of seats in the assembly after the polls scheduled when compared to the last state assembly elections. Speaking on the alliance with other parties he said, “we don’t have any plans for either for pre-poll or post poll alliance with any party.”
“The state government should release necessary compensation to the victims of the chemical waste tragedy in Mysuru which killed one boy and seriously injured another on Saturday,” he said. HDK also alleged that the chemicals dumped by RBI currency note printing unit has resulted in the death of the boy after severe burn injuries.
