Karwar: Three members of a family, swimming in a stream near Karwar, drowned to their deaths. This tragedy took place at Taribole stream in Hattikeri gram panchayat in Ankola taluk on Sunday April 8th.
The deceased have been identified as Ramesh Ambiga (50), and his children, Ravi Ramesh Ambiga (18) and Naveen Ramesh Ambiga (15). Only Naveen Ambiga’s body has been recovered by the divers. Search is on for the mortal remains of the other two victims.
A case of unnatural death has been registered at Ankola Police station.
