Covid 19: Three new cases reported in Udupi; state tally rises to 1743

Bengaluru: Three persons, interstate travellers from Maharashtra have tested positive for coronavirus as the number of those infected in the state rose to 1743.
Thirty three new cases were reported since noon to evening today, the health department said in its update.
A total of 138 cases have been confirmed and 26 people discharged in the last 24 hours, as per the situation update.
A 31–year-old male, a 55-year-old male and a 48-year-old female tested positive for coronavirus in Udupi taking tally of those infected in the district to 50, as per the state health department.
