Thumbe: Several persons injured after Bengaluru-bound bus topples

Mangaluru: A Bengaluru-bound private bus toppled near Thumbe on Monday, February 14 night. Several passengers were injured in the accident.

Reportedly, the accident took place after the driver control over the vehicle when he was negotiating a dangerous road bend some distance away from BA College.

The injured were immediately rushed to the hospital.

Firemen who arrived a short while later sprayed water, and took steps to ensure that the accident does not cause further damage as the diesel began to leak from the bus tank.
