Told to speak softly, man assaults relative; Case filed

Subrahmanya: A man allegedly assaulted his relative with a sword after the latter told him not to speak loudly as his child was asleep.

The victim, Ramesh Subrahmanya of Balpa village has lodged a complaint in this regard at Subrahmanya police station.

As per the complaint, the accused Sundara Hosmath visited Ramesh’s house on March 26 evening. As Sundara was speaking loudly, Ramesh told him to talk softly as his child was sleeping. This agitated Sundara and he attacked Ramesh with a knife.

Police are investigating the case.
