Two women killed while crossing railway track

Mangaluru: Two women were killed after they were run over by the train while crossing the track.

The deceased are identified Vasanti (50), and Prema (48).

Both women were taking the rolled beedies to be delivered to the beedi branch.

Railway police visited the spot and undertook the investigation.

The mortal remains were shifted to Wenlock hospital for post-mortem.
