UAE extends suspension of flights to and from India indefinitely

Dubai: UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has suspended all flight services to and from India indefinitely.
Exemptions will continue for UAE citizens, diplomatic missions of both countries, official delegations and golden visa holders.
The flight suspension includes all inbound transit flights but not outbound transit flights.
This move comes after Air India had restarted passenger flights to and from the UAE on June 24.
The UAE had first suspended flight movements between the country and India in April after the rise in COVID-19 cases and has been extending it.
