Udupi child abduction case: Police arrest accused

Udupi: The kidnapper who abducted 2.4 years child of a Bagalkote-based couple was arrested by the Kumta police.
The arrested is identified as Parasu. He and the child will be brought back to Udupi today, (Monday, July 12), informed the police.
The couple, Bharathi and Arun, and their son Shivraj (2.4 years) are from the Muddhol taluk in Bagalkot district.
Since the lockdown began the couple, who are migrant workers, have been living in a shed near the Karavali Bypass.
A man claiming to be from Bagalkote district recently acquainted himself with the couple.
On Sunday morning, he took the child from the couple saying that he wants to take him to the tea shop but did not return.
