Udupi dist admin arranges more facilities for army aspirants

Udupi: The district administration here has organised more facilities for army aspirants coming to the town for the army recruitment rally.

On Friday, it was reported that many of the aspirants coming from other districts to the town to participate in the rally were sleeping on the roads and streets.

Deputy Commissioner G Jagadeesha later issued a clarification stating that proper arrangements have been made for the aspirants, however, some are arriving late in the night, sleep on the roads and leave for the test at 4 am.

It was also reported on Saturday, that many aspirants are arriving in the town days before their assigned date for the test. They too were sleeping on the roads at night.

Presently, arrangements have been made for all the aspirants to spend the night at Rajangana, Sri Krishna matha’s vehicle parking area, G Shankar College, Vivekananda School and Bannanje Mahalingeshwara temple.
