Udupi: Man falls into ditch, dies

A man lost his life after accidentally falling into a ditch in Matadabettu, Udupi.

The deceased has been identified as 33-year-old Satish, a resident of Byndoor. Satish was employed at a local hotel in Udupi and had been reported missing since yesterday afternoon. However, his lifeless body was discovered in Matadabettu on Thursday afternoon.

Upon the discovery of the body, drowning specialist Ishwar Malpe was summoned to retrieve it, and social worker Nityananda Ukkadu provided assistance in transporting the deceased to the district hospital.
