Udupi: Condemning the NIA raids on the PFI office in Udupi, PFI activists protested by blocking the road on Thursday, September 22.

Protesters protested on Court Road by sloganeering “Go Back NIA”.

Due to the blockade of the road, traffic congestion was observed.

Taking into cognizance, the police rushed to the spot and detained several protesters.

Meanwhile, the police sources said that the PFI leader on whom the raid was conducted escaped within Hiriadka and Kaup police station limits. Based on this information, the police have begun search operations and tracking his mobile location.

However, the police have refrained from disclosing information on whether the missing PFI leader is from Udupi or elsewhere.
