Udupi: Salesman booked for cheating owner of Rs 14 lakh

Udupi: A salesman of a travel company in Udupi was booked for cheating the owner of the company.
The victim has been identified as Rudolph D’Souza (44), a resident of Banglegudde Kukkundoor.
Rudolph was running a franchise of TBO Tek company Skyline Enterprises and travels for train and air travel booking. An ID and password were also given to him by the company.
In April 2022, Rudolph received a call from TBO Tek company asking him to return Rs 14,76,284 paid by the company.
But Rudolph denied taking any money from the company as he had not used his ID and password for two years.
It was later revealed that a man who worked as a salesman in the company stole Rudolph’s ID and password and then reset the credentials to swindle money.
A case has been registered.
