Udupi: Shop owner apologises over attack on town council worker

Udupi: The owner of the shop whose two employees attacked a town council waste collector over a waste segregation dispute has tendered an apology on his Facebook account.
The incident had occurred on Friday, March 12.
Two employees of a shop near the city bus stand here had an altercation with and later attacked a waste collector after he questioned them over non-segregation of the shop’s waste.
A case was registered at the town’s police station.
The shop’s owner, who is also the district president of BJP Minority Morcha, added in his apology that he condemns the action and wishes that proper legal action is taken against the culprits if found guilty.
