Udupi ZP CEO carries out civic workers’ duties; collects waste from households

Udupi: Usually, it is the civic workers known as ‘pourakarmikas’ who collect household waste from the residents of localities in Udupi. Residents of Badagabettu were pleasantly surprised when the Zilla Panchayat CEO drove the dumpster vehicle himself and collected the waste from locals.

On September 24, Zilla Panchayat CEO Prasanna H was seen moving from one house to another collecting household waste and garbage.

Residents appreciated the IAS rank officer’s good intentions of inspiring as well as appreciating the work of the civic workers.
