Ullal: Man breaks into house, assaults woman; Arrested

Konaje police apprehended a man for illegally entering a house and molesting a woman before fleeing the scene in Harekala village.
The arrested individual has been identified as Naufal (32), a resident of Harekala Kojapadi.
The incident occurred late Wednesday night when a local woman and her children had dinner and went to bed around 11 p.m. However, at around midnight, the woman was shocked to find someone touching her hand and leg. Swiftly, she switched on the lights, and the intruder was found to be sleeping under the bed. He then hastily escaped through the back door.
The woman promptly reported the intrusion and assault to the Konaje police. It was revealed that the accused had gained entry by removing the tiles on the roof.
Further information indicates that the woman’s husband was absent at the time, as he was on the night shift. Disturbingly, there have been prior complaints about the accused’s inappropriate behavior, including a history of breaking into the woman’s washroom.
Konaje police have since registered a case related to this incident.
