Ullal: National Investigation Agency (NIA) officials from Bengaluru raided the house of the son of former MLA DBM Idinabba here on Wednesday morning.
The raid took place in the backdrop of Idinabba’s grandaughter joining Syria-based ISIS.
Ajmal, the granddaughter, married a youth from Kasaragod and had gone missing with her husband and child, who were in touch with ISIS terrorists.
Ajmal left with her family in 2015-16 to Sri Lanka from where they travelled to Qatar and then to Syria to join ISIS.
