Uppinangady: In a shocking incident, a minor girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by her father in Golithottu Village.
The accused has been arrested under the provisions of the POCSO Act.
The matter came to light when it was found that the girl was pregnant when her mother had taken her for a health check-up as she was not feeling well on August 16.
The victim in her complaint alleged that her father had sexually assaulted her a few months ago. Based on the complaint, Uppinangady police have arrested the accused.
