
Uppinangady: Case registered against unknown miscreants for setting fish stall on fire

Uppinangady: A case has been registered against unknown miscreants at the Uppinangady police station for setting fire to a fish stall at Subrahmanya Cross here.
The stall, belonging to Anil Kumar Shetty, was reportedly set on fire between 1 and 2 am on Monday night.
“Two refrigerators, eight fish trays, weighing machine and fresh fishes were destroyed in the incident causing a loss of about Rs 1.4 lakh,” Shetty said.
He also said that a few days ago he was threatened not to continue selling fish.
