Vitla: KSRTC bus driver, 2 children injured after windshield shatters

Vitla: Two children and the driver of a Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus, proceeding towards Kasargod from Puttur via Vitla, sustained injuries after the windshield of the bus shattered at Urimajalu in Vitla.

The children were seated in the front seats when the glass shattered reportedly to the extreme heat conditions.

One of the boy, a resident of Nellikatte in Cherkala, Kerala sustained serious injuries and has been admitted to a hospital in Puttur for treatment. The driver and the other boy sustained minor injuries.
