Wadeyar’s newborn prince to be named on February 20

Mysuru: Yaduveer Wadeyar’s newborn son will be named on February 20 in a grand ceremony which will be held at Amba Vilas Palace of Mysore.

The ceremony will be held at the banquet hall of the palace on February 20. The palace is in full swing preparations for the ceremony.

According to sources, the rituals will begin on February 19 and the naming ceremony will be on February 20.

Rajmatha Pramoda Devi is keen on naming her grandson on February 20, a day that coincides with the birth anniversary of her husband Late Srikantadutta Narasimharaja Wadiyar during an auspicious hour based on astronomical signs.
