Woman home guard assault case: Two arrested

Ullal: Two college students were arrested by the city police for kicking the private part and abusing a woman home guard, who was carrying out her duties for Naguri traffic police station.

The arrested are identified as Mohammed Hasir and Nayeem, both residents of Ullal Halekote.

The incident took place at Kapikad of Thokottu near Ullal on September 25.

Case details:

The woman home guard had clicked the photo of both the accused who were riding their motorbike on the wrong side on NH 66 on the stretch between Ullal and Kapikad.

The youths who were enraged by this act of the woman home guard came near her and kicked her private part, they also used abusive language and escaped from the spot.

Following the incident, the woman home guard had filed a complaint in the Ullal police station in this regard and the police arrested the accused.
