Mysuru: A woman set her husband ablaze after suspecting the illicit affair at Satyanagar in Udayagiri on Wednesday, January 9.
The victim Pasha (45) sustained severe burn injuries and is undergoing treatment at KR Hospital in the city.
It is gathered that the accused Mumtaz (44) and Pasha used to quarrel with each other over an alleged illicit affair of Pasha. Finally on Wednesday when Pasha was sleeping Mumtaz poured petrol on Pasha and set him ablaze.
A case with this regard has been registered with the Udayagiri police.
