Woman threatened with knife during attempted rape

Muzaffarnagar: A woman was attacked by two men who held a knife to her throat and attempted to rape her in New Mandi area in Muzaffarnagar district, police said today.
The incident happened when the woman, 30, was returning home, according to a police complaint filed by her. The two men fled when she resisted their attempt and raised an alarm.
The police said a case has been registered against the two men, who have been absconding since the incident yesterday.
