Youth dies, father critical in road accident

A 26-year-old youth was killed on the spot while his father sustained critical injuries after a tempo collided with an auto rickshaw on the state highway near Uduma on Saturday, April 30.
B A Ameer (26), a resident of Tipu Nagar is the deceased person. His father, Mohammed Kunhi is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Mangaluru.
As per reports, the duo were wholesale vegetable vendors and were headed to Kanhangad in an auto to purchase vegetables when the tempo collided against the auto killing Ameer on the spot.
His body was shifted to the mortuary of Kasargod general hospital.
