Youth from Belthangady loses life in motorbike accident in Dubai

Belthangady: A youth who had been to Dubai in search of employment tragically died in a motorbike accident.
The deceased has been identified as Clavin Avin Rodrigues (25), son of Cyril Rodrigues, a resident of Kuvettu village.
The accident occurred on the night of October 11, when Clavin was riding a bike with his friend. The bike hit the road divider and as a result, Clavin who was riding pillion, was thrown onto the road. He died of severe injuries caused by the impact.
Clavin had travelled to Dubai on a visiting visa about 6 months ago in search of employment. He had gotten an offer from a company and was to return to India in about a week’s time, sources said.
Meanwhile, as per Dubai government rules, an autopsy was conducted. The mortal remains will reach Belthangady on Saturday, sources close to the family said.
The deceased is survived by his father, mother and brothers.
