Youth killed by miscreants, old rivalry suspected

Bengaluru: A rowdy was hacked to death  by unidentified assailants at Managanahalli Cross near Ullala, western Bengaluru, on Sunday night.  

The deceased has been identified as Gurumurthy (29) alias Murthy was found lying in a pool of blood on Monday morning.  

It has been reported that the victim was by the bus stand here and had consumed alcohol. 

A group of miscreants caught a fight with him and attacked him with lethal weapons before fleeing from the spot.

It was reported that he was lying in a pool of blood for about two hours before the locals reported the murder.

The police revealed that the victim was involved in many cases and was arrested by the Kamakshipalya police on a dacoity charge and had come out on bail a few days ago.

In total, he had 13 criminal cases at Annapurneshwari Nagar, Kamakshipalya and Rajagopalnagar police stations.
