Spicejet launches 6 new flights

Mumbai: Spicejet has announced six new daily direct flights on both domestic and international routes, including the first direct flight on the Guwahati- Patna route, starting from October.

Among the international routes, the airline will begin a new daily direct flight on the Hyderabad-Bangkok route from October 10, the Gurgaon-based airline said in a statement.

It claimed that it is the first to introduce a daily direct flight on the Guwahati-Patna route. It is also introducing daily direct flights on the Hyderabad-Guwahati.

The airline will deploying Boeing 737s on these routes, the new flights will help it its network connectivity between the metros and non-metros.

BSE signs an agreement with Bengal for SME listing

The BSE has signed an agreement with Bengal to create awareness amongst SMEs about benefits of listing.

Through this, the BSE in association with the state’s MSME department and industry chambers will help these small companies build capacity through a series of handholding workshops/seminars.

The BSE will provide all intellectual and man power support in such awareness programmes.

ICICI Bank launches Manchester United-branded cards

The second largest private sector lender ICICI Bank has entered into a multi-year partnership with Manchester United to offer a range of co-branded credit and debit cards to the British soccer club’s millions of Indian followers.

As part of the agreement, ICICI Bank will offer two types of credit cards under the co-branded labels, the bank said today. Each card will come with competitive rates, as well as qualifying for a wide range of exclusive privileges and discounts on merchandise from Manchester United online store and other affiliated partners here.

Privileges include, fully-paid trips to Old Trafford to watch a game, a chance to observe a first team training session, signed merchandise as well as a Manchester United welcome gift. The statement claims that there are over 35 million followers of the soccer club in the country.

Benefits for the Manchester United-labelled debit cards include five reward points on everyday purchases, buy- one-get-one movie tickets if booked through BookMyShow, discounts on dining at affiliated restaurants, fuel surcharge waiver among others.

Manchester United is one of the most popular football clubs in the world with a 140-year-old heritage and a global community of 659 million followers. It has won 66 trophies so far.

Max Life launches new plan

Private sector Max Life Insurance has launched a savings advantage plan, which is a non-linked participating life cover providing the policyholder with triple benefits of flexibility, premium payment term and policy term.

This product also offers a flexibility to the customer to take the maturity benefit or death benefit in lump sum or in a regular monthly/annual income for 10 years, the company said in a statement today.

It offers a superior maturity benefit of 110 per cent of guaranteed sum assured on maturity. Apart from getting guaranteed additions of 5.5 per cent of guaranteed sum assured on maturity each year for the first five years and step-up death benefit after 10 years of policy as per the policy terms and conditions.
