HD Revanna visits Charmadi ghat section

Belthangady: PWD Minister, H D Revanna visited the Charmadi Ghat section and inspected the areas of landslips and assured of concreting the curves.

Addressing the press here in Charmadi ghat region, Revanna said that immediate measures will be taken to resolve the issue faced in the region. “The hair pin curves at the ghat region are dangerous. We are planning to concrete these curves to avoid any such problems in the future.

The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) will send a detailed report after studying the roads here. We will submit a proposal of Rs 250 crores to NHAI soon, he said.”

Beltangady MLA Harish Poonja, MLC S L Dharmegowda, public works department secretary Krishna Reddy, superintendent Kantharaju and others accompanied the minister.
