Kundapur: Students fight; two arrested

Kundapur: Two students have been arrested by the police in connection to the fight in the middle of the road between two groups of students.

The arrested accused is identified as Subrahmanya Uppunda, a student of a private college in Koteshwara. He was arrested by SI Harish, ASI’s Ashok, Taranath and staff Chetan and Prasanna at Halady road on Thursday.

The student was regularly missing classes and was facing attendance shortage. Two third year college students Mithun and Akshata of a local college have suffered grievous injuries in connection to this incident.

Another case

In connection to the stabbing of Manish in the premises of Kundapur Junior College, the accused Manju alias Benki Manju has been arrested. One of his accomplice was arrested a few days back.
