Kota double murder case: Two police constables arrested

Kota: The double murder case of Kota near here has taken a sudden twist with the arrest of two police constables of District Armed Reserve Force (DAR) by the investigating officers.
The arrested constables are Pavan Amin and Veerendra Acharya. They have been arrested on the charges of helping the accused in the murder case on Sunday Feb 10
Apparently the accused constables were in contact with the double murder accused Harish Reddy, Rajashekhar Reddy, Mahesh Ganiga and Santhosh Kunder since a long time.
After murdering Bharat Kumar and Yatish at Manoor on Jan 26, the accused stayed in the house belonging to constable Pavan Amin, at Kuchoor of Hebri. Harish Reddy had called Pavan Amin and asked him to send one SIM card, mobile, cash and other items on Jan 27. Accordingly, Pavan sent the demanded things to Harish Reddy through a person by the name Pranav Bhat. Later, a car was arranged for the escape of the accused by Pavan and the other constable Veerendra Acharya.
Arrangements were made by Pavan for the accused to reside in his relative’s house. He dropped the accused at his relatives house in Mallandoor and brought mobile and other items given by Harish Reddy and hid them on Jan 28th.
The car, mobile phone and other items have been seized from the accused Pavan Amin and Veerendra Acharya, informed the police. The accused have been remanded to judicial custody till February 15 by Kundapur Court.
So far 8 persons have been arrested including 2 police constables in connection to the Kota double murder case.
