K T Naveen: Gauri Lankesh’s murder suspect

Mandya: K T Naveen, who has been arrested by the Special Investigation Team, regarding the murder of journalist Gauri Lankesh, was a recognizable face in Maddur. Naveen is the founder-president of ‘Hindu Yuva Sene’ organisation. He was conducting regular blood donation camps since three years.

Naveen was born in Bharathinagar, and is a school dropout. His father Thimmaiah is an ex-employee of the Chamundeshwari Sugar Factory. Naveen is married to Roopa for five years and has been living in Roopa’s place in Birur, Chikkamagaluru. His parents Thimmaiah and mother Nagamma live with his brother Thimmegowda at T B Circle, Maddur.

He had worked for quite a while in Mangaluru and was the member of ‘Hindu Jagarana Vedike’. He established the ‘Hindu Yuva Sene’ three years prior in Maddur, and has been sorting out a few projects.

As he had settled in Birur, he was going to Maddur just amid the projects. He had organized blood donation camps as a part of Subhash Chandra Bose’s birth anniversary at Shivapura Satyagraha Soudha on January 23, where 500 individuals donated blood.

Naveen was additionally celebrating the birth anniversaries of many leaders and legends by by distributing fruits to the patients at government hospital in Maddur.

As indicated by his sibling Thimmegowda, he would visit his parents every time he came to Maddur to attend programs. Naveen was extremely enthusiastic and isn’t a man to think of a murder, Gowda said.

As indicated by local people, he had partaken in the Dharma Jagruthi Samavesha, organized by the RSS in Maddur taluk, as of late. He is a member from Sanathana Dharma Rakshana Vedike and had taken an interest in rallies and encouraging youths.
