Covid-19 norms violation: Bengaluru cops collect over 83 lakh fine

Bengaluru: Over Rs 83-lakh fines from 33,614 violators of Covid rules was collected by the city police in the first 11 days of April.
According to Bengaluru police, fines were collected from the people who were not wearing a face mask and for not maintaining social distance in public places.
The police have collected, Rs 80,29,725 for not wearing mask and Rs 32,00,161 for not maintaining physical distancing in public places., police said in a statement.
