Dist faces vaccine shortage amid surge in new cases, MLAs not bothered: Ivan D’souza

Mangaluru: Congress leader Ivan D’souza on Wednesday said that the Dakshina Kannada District Commissioner himself confessed that there is a shortage of vaccines.
Addressing presspersons here Ivan said, “Amid a surge in new cases Dakshina Kannada is facing vaccination shortage and the DC himself confessed about it. The District in-charge minister and another minister from the district failed to get the vaccine to the district from the government.”
“All the MLAs from the district are busy performing Guddali pooja, there are not even aware of the vaccination shortage situation in the district,” added Ivan.
